There are no teams in the NFL that have clinched a playoff berth through Week 14. Only three teams have a real chance at clinching a berth this week in the NFC.
Even with the NFC touting several solid teams that have legitimate chances at winning the Super Bowl, there are no teams that have clinched a playoff berth. This week could change that and, by Tuesday, we could see three of our first teams seal their fate in the NFL playoffs.
Arizona Cardinals (10-2) vs Los Angeles Rams (8-4)
With Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins back in action, the Cardinals have a chance to make a deep run at the right time. The team seems to be getting healthy at just the right time. Here are some scenarios.
Clinches Playoff Berth
- Arizona win or tie OR
- Minnesota loss or tie + San Francisco loss OR
- Minnesota loss or tie + New Orleans loss or tie + Carolina loss or tie OR
- San Francisco loss + New Orleans loss or tie + Atlanta/Carolina tie
Green Bay Packers (9-3) vs Chicago Bears (4-8)
Does Aaron Rodgers have Covid-toe? Is Covid-toe a real thing? The chances we know anything real about Rodgers is about equal to knowing how much Chris Collinsworth practices to slide into Sunday Night Football. Either way, the Packers are destined for the playoffs considering the rest of the division is just an absolute disaster. This week, they don’t only have a chance to clinch a playoff berth, but the chance to win the NFC North Division.
Clinches NFC North Title
- Green Bay win + Minnesota loss or tie OR
- Green Bay tie + Minnesota loss
Clinches Playoff Berth
- Green Bay win + New Orleans loss or tie + San Francisco loss OR
- Green Bay win + New Orleans loss or tie + Los Angeles Rams loss + San Francisco tie
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3) vs Buffalo Bills (7-5)
Oh look, it’s Tom Brady and playoff scenarios again. This team is a lock at making the playoffs and most likely end up being the top seed in the NFC. They have the easiest schedule down the stretch and should have no problems getting in this year again.
Clinches NFC South
- Tampa Bay win + New Orleans loss or tie + Carolina loss or tie
Clinches Playoff Berth
- Tampa Bay tie + Carolina loss + New Orleans loss + Minnesota loss + San Francisco loss or tie + Washington loss or tie
